From security operations to one digital workflow.
RWS RONIN Wach- & Sicherheitsdienst GmbH is a growing service company focused on security services and complementary business areas. Its services range from site, plant and event security to paramedic services, facility management and deep cleaning. What started in 2023 quickly developed into a business with increasingly complex operational requirements.
As the business grew, so did the number of people, sites, services and information that had to be coordinated every day. At the same time, the public-facing presence needed to represent the company and its expanding range of services professionally. The challenge therefore had two sides: making RWS visible externally while creating a digital structure behind the scenes that could grow with the business.
We did not look at the website and the internal operation as two separate projects. A security company runs on customers, sites, personnel, qualifications, services and clearly defined processes. Those relationships needed to exist digitally as well – externally through a strong company presence and internally through a system built around the operational reality of RWS.
We built the digital environment of RWS on two connected levels. Externally, we created a distinctive company presence covering RWS and its different business areas. Behind it, we built iRON – a web application designed around the operational needs of the business, bringing customers, sites, personnel, qualifications, suppliers, subcontractors, services, price lists, items and terminals together in one shared data foundation.
RWS today has more than a digital company presence. It has a digital structure supporting the business both externally and internally. Customers can see what RWS stands for and the services it provides. Behind the scenes, iRON creates the shared data foundation for day-to-day operations – providing the basis for more processes to be progressively digitised and automated.
