The company supports industry and trade with audits, consulting, recruiting and training – practical and drawn directly from the experience of real projects. At the same time, HIS brings companies and specialised professionals in the global trade field together.
Two websites, different services and a separate job portal – even though everything belongs to one company and the same market. The challenge: to turn this into one shared digital presence that can do more than just bring information together.
We didn’t just look at the existing websites, but at the business behind them. HIS connects consulting, compliance, recruiting and training with companies and specialised professionals. That is exactly where the potential lay: individual offerings and a job portal could grow into one connected digital platform.
From this idea came HIS Global Trade Management: a multi-layered digital ecosystem with dedicated areas for companies and Global Professionals, intelligent job and applicant management, direct access to HIS services, and interconnected processes. Many workflows interlock automatically – from the first enquiry through to further processing.
Outwardly, we merged the two previous websites into one shared digital presence and rebuilt it completely from scratch. But the far larger part begins where the public website ends. With our own platform iyonex, we built HIS’s internal digital ecosystem right behind it and connected it to the public presence. Companies and Global Professionals each get their own areas and functions; the job portal, recruiting and applicant management draw on it, as do service requests, live KPIs, community and further processes. Website and platform are no longer separate systems. What visitors see on the outside and what happens in the background belong to one seamless solution – with largely automated workflows between the individual areas.
